Running a Fleet

Operational exercises for people who already have machines running: track your fleet, know when to switch off, and price the risks.

Step 1 of 5 · Bitcoin Mining Scenario Simulator · intermediate

Read Today's Thresholds

Why this step: Load your real fleet into the Simulator to see where it stands today.

Scenario

Same fleet — is it worth running right now, and how close is it to switching off?

Open Simulator

Opens in a new tab so you can follow the steps side by side.

Do this

  1. 1Scroll to the TODAY section and record daily revenue, power cost and profit.
  2. 2Record the break-even power rate and the shutdown BTC price.
  3. 3Compare the shutdown price to today's live price: what % drop turns the fleet off?
  4. 4Change power to $0.05/kWh and watch both thresholds move.
  5. 5Cross-check: open the Hardware Turn-off calculator with the same inputs — the shutdown price should match.
What you should find (open after trying)

The distance between the live price and your shutdown price is your safety margin. The Simulator uses the same engine as the calculators, so numbers agree — cheaper power widens the margin more than almost any other lever.
